VV 9 wird vom Moving Image Lab und, dem Post-Media Lab organisiert. Ein Teil von VV 9 stellt die erste Ausgabe der Veranstaltungsserie Analog am Centre for Digital Cultures der Leuphana Universität dar. Co-Organisator ist das Team Regionale Vernetzung des Innovations-Inkubators Lüneburg. Analog richtet sich an regionale Unternehmen der Medienbranche, Medienmacherinnen und –macher oder digitale Videoperformer und zeigt die Relevanz digitaler Themen für regionale Kontexte auf.
Video Vortex is a travelling conference series established by Ansterdam based Institute for Network Cultures in 2007.
Video Vortex #9, Re:assemblies of Video, is organized and hosted by the Moving Image Lab and Post-Media Lab of the Innovation Incubator at Leuphana University Lüneburg, Germany.
The Moving Image Lab researches and experimentally enganges with the production, circulation and effects of internet-based moving image formats. It is the core of the Centre for Digital Cultures, which is currently being established at Leuphana University. The Post-Media Lab offers space for the development of collective medial contestations in the age of imploding mass-media. It is centred around a programme of visiting fellows and a series of publications and public events.
