A parody clip of ‘Sentai Hero’ (known as Power Rangers series outside of Japan): this ridicules the awful nuclear plant policy carried by ’Genpatsu-mura’ (Nuclear power village in Japan)’. Produced by the comedy troup ‘Okome Ttakeru no Ichiza’ (Rice Takeru theatrical company), which was established after the TEPCO Fukushima Daiichi Nuclear Plant accident. The clip gained its popularity in the Internet, as it successfully created sarcastic laughter by subverting the government’s information control mixed up with their bureaucracy, academics under their thumb and national media coverages.

Kanaya Ken(Tokyo) is a media archivist and researcher of free culture in the digital media. He started his career as a DIY musician after learning 8 bit VJ and video art and released a compilation album Number Pieces 2 presented by Delic Record as an MC in the music unit ‘Adventure Breaker’s Beat in 2006. He is known as a HIGE VISION in the blog in which he collected a number of rare and experimental video clips related free, mash-up and pirate culture and joined the Free Media International University (later, Free Media Research Lab (FMRL)) as a visual researcher in 2008. Recently he organized a translation project of the film Good Copy Bad Copy (Dir. A Johnson et al).
