The potential of HTML5 video to revolutionize story- telling is just beginning to dawn on the filmmaking public. This presenta- tion will introduce some practices and paradigms that make a real case for embracing open video, including popcorn.js, dense text annotations, and more. It will also address some challenges in bringing HTML5-powered video to audiences.
